The Extreme Searcher Rides Again…?

ITI has just published the 4th edition of Ran Hock’s terrific book, The Extreme Searcher’s Internet Handbook:  A Guide for the Serious Searcher.

Publication of Ran’s handbook is always a cause for celebration around here–in part because “the Extreme Searcher” is one of our favorite people, but also because the book always gives us a big boost sales-wise. All 3 earlier editions have ranked among our bestsellers and I’m sure it will be no different this time around. Needless to say, the book is excellent–a must-read for internet searchers who want to go beyond Google (or at least to make the most of Google, if they refuse to use anything else).

I thought it would be fun to look at the cover art from all 4 editions and offer complimentary copies of the new edition to the first 3 responders who can identify 2 things about the 4th edition cover art that mark a significant departure from the 3 earlier versions.  Continue Reading →
